My friend Chun Kit has asked me to post some german food photos.
Here you are.
1st of all, one question.
How to define german food..?
Well, I dont know.. so far the foods i have been eating i dont even know if they are really german goods. I have been eating kebap, which is from Turkey, the foods in Student Cafe, Mc Donalds, Siemens Canteen...
anyway...
Those picture were taken in the canteen in Siemens AG Bruchsal.
As a student, I can get 50% discount on the main dish. After discount the food costs about €1.30 (RM6.50 or S$2.60), which is very cheap.
The cheapest real food in Germany is doener Kebab, which cost 3 Euro(RM15 or S$6) in Bruchsal. Besides, the quantity served in the canteen is huge and quality is like in classy restaurant.
The soup costs only €0.25 and the side dishes and dessert costs €0.50.
After lunch I would go back to my deparment, drink coffee (free of charge) because we have our own Coffee maker with coffee powder of course...
ok then... Coffee time... ciao~~

wah the food looks really delicious! The rice got sauce somemore.. yum... but i find it quite weird to have coffee with the meal, becos coffee is abit bitter, then mix with salty/sour food... weird combination heh
looks better than nus food though =P
That pictures were taken 2 days ago. Everyday there are different foods. Sometime they do repeat though. Did you see a small brown bottle on the right side of the 1st photo?
hehehe there is my own chili flakes bottle. You know right, I like very spicy food. So in Germany I will carry this bottle whereever I go. Even to Spain... pretty weird i guess. Perhaps I should buy a more high class bottle so that when other see it, they would have other perspective.
